I have never considered myself alone in running Babysitters of Kensington & Chelsea. Our babysitters, the parents who book with us and my wider friends and family network have always been a constant source of support and inspiration, for which I am very grateful.
Within the last year, our team has flourished in a slightly more traditional way so I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to us all:
Anna Cameron
As a Kensington resident, I babysat for local families and this led to the launch of Babysitters of Kensington & Chelsea in 2011. My employment background is primarily in sales & marketing and I have a passion for start-ups and all things related to entrepreneurship. I am responsible for overseeing the financial, marketing, customer service, tech and strategic sides of BOKAC.
Sophie Purvis
Recently, you will have received responses to your questions from Sophie who has taken over the running of BOKAC from Monday-Friday. Sophie and I have been close friends since 2005 when we met at the University of Leeds, both studying Psychology. Sophie is a professional (and excellent!) yoga teacher and many of you will also have met her as she is one of our most popular babysitters: http://bokac.co.uk/our-babysitters/view/185.
Sara Genevini
Sara is training to be a child psychologist and is also a registered babysitter (http://bokac.co.uk/our-babysitters/view/171) which makes her perfectly placed to handle our babysitter recruitment. Sara takes each applicant through the reference collection and verification process and interviews each person face-to-face. Sara understands exactly what parents are looking for when it comes to booking a babysitter and is instantly able to recognise whether someone is right to join BOKAC.
James Burnett and Sam Roberts
The booking process and website were designed and created by the wonderful James and Sam from Infobahn: http://www.infobahndesign.com.If you’re ever looking for a website designer, I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
